A $10,000 scholarship is given away at freecollegescholarships.net and it is available to eligible students to apply.  The requirements to be eligible to apply are that you have to be 18 years or older and live in the United States.  To enter the scholarship drawing, you simply have to fill a one-page registration form.  The scholarship is given away each month so don’t delay your free registration.

Another scholarship that you may want to check out is the Sam Walton Community Scholarship.  Students who win the scholarship can get more than $1,000.  Eligible applicants are those who’ve been out of school for at least one year and who work with Walmart.

You may also want to check out the Carnegie Writing Scholarship.  Students need to show a record of academic excellence.  You can submit a poem or a short story to apply.

There is no such thing as a magic pill when it comes to winning scholarships.  This will make your life easier when it comes to paying your tuition and all the other fees.

Several Government and University Sponsored Scholarship Programs Available to All Moms For Free

Across the web there are numerous links to a web site that called Scholarships 4 Moms which claims to offer mothers scholarships to go to college. Many have mistakenly believed that this is part of the President Obama’s American Recovery and Reinvestment Act which has increased funding to government financial aid and has opened eligibility. In reality, this program is a “landing site” for an educational awareness program called Project Working Mom: Putting Education to Work.

Project Working Mom was created by a coalition of colleges and universities and it offers $2 million in scholarships to American mothers. Most of these scholarships are for online schools, which usually is the better option for women who work and have a family. Read it all..
